DIY: Order of Service

DIY Order of Service for a wedding

For  my own wedding, we decided to make our own DIY Order of Service. We had quite a simple theme, so these were not too elaborate and pretty easy to make!

We ordered kraft card in A4 size for the cover, and designed a personalised stamp from The English Stamp Company with the details. Keeping it as simple as possible this just had our names, the date and ‘order of service’. We also ordered a little heart tree stamp to add a little bit more detail to the cover.

We bought lots of pastel coloured string from Hobbycraft to tie them up. The inside was printed on our home computer on standard white A4 paper. We simply printed out the details and folded them in half inside the folded kraft card, then tied them up with the string.

We could have punched holes through the paper and the card and tied them this way, but the order of service is only used for wedding ceremony so we didn’t think this was necessary.

This order of service is so simple and so easy to personalise with your own text, colour of card and the colour of the string to tie them up.

My husband and I spent a few hours putting them all together and tying them up, but I really liked the finished product!
