Today we are sharing with your our favourite alternative bars for your wedding. These would be great if your venue isn’t in a hotel, maybe a tipi, marquee or a barn wedding venue.
For our own wedding we had a cocktail bar from Speakeasy Libations in York. Run by the super lovely Ross, Speakeasy often run pop up bars around York, alongside bar hire for weddings and events. I really cannot recommend them enough, they were fantastic! Ross worked with us before the day to create a bespoke cocktail menu, as well as stocking the bar with plenty of other beers, wines and spirits. This was truly personalised to us and our guests loved it!
A Vintage Bus
Meet Leyla, the 1966 vintage bus that has been transformed into what is quite possibly, the coolest wedding bar I’ve ever seen. The upper deck has been transformed into a lounge area, while the lower deck is a fully functioning modern bar. The guys at Route 14 must have so much fun at events with Leyla!
Vintage Cocktail Van
Box Seventy Seven is a super cute 1977 Citroen HY van. It’s also a mobile bar that tootles around the country serving delicious cocktails at weddings and events. Love it!
Ok, maybe I have a thing about vans and vintage transport, but who could refuse Prosecco on tap?! This little Italian number from Bubble Bros is just the ticket if you are a lover of the bubbles!
