Wedding Guest Fashion: Summer Edition

Wedding Guest Outfits for a Summer Wedding

As a wedding guest, in can sometimes be tricky to know what to wear. We all know not to wear white, but you also don’t want to match the bridesmaids! A few months back I wrote about what to wear to a wedding in spring and lots of you loved it, so I thought I would do a bit of a summer update. We’re well into wedding season already, but if you are still looking for an outfit for a summer wedding, then read on for some style inspiration.

Co-ord Separates

A separate top and skirt, with a matching pattern is so on trend right now. If your not feeling brave enough, then you could match the full prom skirt with a plain top and still be in the perfect outfit for a summer wedding.

Steering away from a traditional wedding guest outfit, why not up the style stakes with trousers, culottes or even a jumpsuit for a wedding this summer? A floral or bright pattern, teamed with a plain cami and dressed up with some heeled sandals always looks super stylish.

Lace isn’t just for the bride (well, as long as you don’t opt for white lace, that may be pushing it). It’s had a bit of an update though, with laser cut out details and geometric patterns.
