Happy Sunday everyone. Right now I’ll be in Venice, on the first day of our honeymoon, so I’ve written the next few weeks of posts in advance. This week’s favourite pins are all about bridal hairstyles. This was something I really struggled with for my wedding. I’m very much a ‘wash & go’ kind of girl, I’ve never really been very adventurous and hair styling is not my forte. But for my wedding I wanted to feel special, so I hired a hair and make up artist to work her magic.
If you’re anything like me I’d definitely recommend having a look at wedding blogs and sites like Pinterest in advance for a little inspiration – I had NO IDEA there were so many different hairstyles out there! To make your life a little easier, I’ve rounded up 10 of my favourite wedding hairstyles from Pinterest below.
This up do is right up my street. It’s elegant, doesn’t look too ‘done’ and the added floral detail makes it a little rustic too.
This is another simple but elegant style, for those with longer hair and want to wear their hair down. The gypsophila is also gorgeous!
If you are planning on wearing a veil, I think it is nice to see how your hair will look with one. This is super soft and looks very romantic.
One for the curly girls, I love this one! While you will find pinterest heaving with elegant up dos, it’s refreshing to find something a little different.
Another bridal up do with a veil, this is simple and elegant, looks perfect with a veil, and that hair piece… wow!
These beachy waves and that waterfall braid are perfect for the laid back bride. Barefoot wedding on a beach anyone?
An elegant and sophisticated way to wear your hair up, while still showing off your long locks, this is quite possibly the most gorgeous pony tail I’ve ever seen.
Short hair doesn’t mean you can’t have a fancy do for your big day. This super cute braid makes me want to chop all my hair off! (Don’t do that just before your big day…)
Pulled back, loose waves, with a stunning hair piece – you can’t go wrong with this whimsical style for brides with long hair.
Braids, waves and fancy hair pieces not your thing? This up do is so perfectly simple and elegant.
So that is my 10 favourite wedding day hairstyles from Pinterest. I hope you enjoy your week!
